My sharpest and softest Black Friday buys.

ree

Given the nature of my job, I've been thinking about Black Friday for months, and this year's deals were particularly good. If I were to write a list of everything I wish I had bought, it would be never-ending. However, I went into this knowing I really wanted to spruce up my bedding and that I desperately needed a reliable kitchen knife.

There's something about a knife block set that seems very intense to me. I think I'm a single-knife buyer, so my first line of business was a chef's knife. One of my food stylist friends owns this Wüsthof knife, and a co-worker recommended it from their cooking days, so when I saw it for 40% off, it was a no-brainer.

I scoured quite a few retailers before I finally found the bedding I wanted. Piglet in Bed, Quince and Anthropologie all had stunning picks, but they weren't quite the shades I was looking for. I landed this smorgasbord of Amazon bedding: this waffle-knit throw I won't shut up about, a burgundy duvet cover that isn't too purple, dusty pink sheets and a set of satin pillowcases. This is my second time buying the throw blanket and pillowcases, I seriously recommend.
