I wrote about 100+ Prime Day deals, but I only bought two things.

I write shopping newsletters for a living, so Amazon Prime Day means a lot more to me than it does to most people. There were multiple times I cancelled plans with the genuine excuse of "It's Amazon Prime Day."
The sale was four days this year, the longest it's ever been, but for me it lasted a few weeks between the planning, writing and browsing. Since I'm so used to seeing their prices and deals, the Prime Day change was super noticeable. I spotted tons of deals that in my dream reality, I would have bought, but I only picked two this year: AirPods and new pillows.
The AirPods 4 were on sale for $89. It had been a while since I'd seen them under $100, and my 1st Generation AirPods flat out stopped working a few months ago. I am actually so pleased with this purchase. They've really made upgrades to the design over the years, and the noise-cancellation is pretty decent. It's also way easier to go on a run with these rather than headphones. There is a reason everybody has these. I don't know how I was getting by without a pair for so long.
I also desperately needed a new set of pillows, so I got these hotel-quality cooling pillows for less than $30. I'm not a hot sleeper, so I can't say much about the cooling aspect, but I can say that I'm getting way better sleep than I was before. I've even been able to sleep on my back, which used to be impossible.
My Prime Day extravaganza continues: These items showed up the same day I ordered them. I don't know how. I just know that after work I placed an order, and before bed I was lying on new pillows with working AirPods in my ears.
Prime Day, for me, is all about getting deals on things I should've replaced years ago.
