The weather in the Midwest has finally changed from frigid to boiling, and that means it's time to start creating my summer 22 playlist. This summer I am feeling a blend of chill songs and upbeat music to get me excited about each day. Here you can find five songs I'm adding to my list and some hits that the people of Twitter are raving about.

I truly wish there were words to describe how this song makes me feel so that I could make you want to listen to it even more. But I can't. So please go listen to it and come back with some words for me to use. All I know is that ever since my niece told me to listen to the new album I've played this song almost daily and keep telling people "there's no good reason not to love if you want it."
Do You... by Miguel
First of all... yes, Miguel. I do. Second of all, my new life goal is to have Miguel write a song about me before I die. Still not sure how I'm going to swing that. This is the perfect car song and get's me excited every time it comes on, my only complaint is that it isn't long enough.
Bad Dream by Cannons
You know those happy little accidents Bob Ross talks about? Yeah, this song was one of them. I was shuffling through a random Apple Music playlist out of boredom when I found this gem. It has the ideal chill vibe that doesn't spiral me back into the wintertime blues.
Anthony Kiedis by Remi Wolf
I heard this song in my friend Lauren's car for the first time and it's safe to say I've been obsessed ever since. It's insanely catchy, upbeat and I misheard the lyric "and talking with Jesus" as "and twerking with Jesus" so it has a special place in my heart.
F**k the World by Brent Faiyaz
If you know me, you know that I spend a lot of time with my friend Kati. Heck, I spent so much time with her I ended up working for her. And in her adorable little shop I fell in love with this song. Just like Bad Dream it has a chill vibe that is still adequate for a summertime drive. It's also a huge bonus that he's a virgo just like me.
